Hallertau Blanc is a new German variety with a bouquet of sweet and tropical fruits, but what makes it so distinctive is a unique white wine character. Hallertau Blanc was bred at the Hüll Hop Research Center and released in 2012. It is one of the new varieties which have been bred and commercialized in response to craft brewers searching out bigger, bolder, and more unique hop aromas.
