Your Bock

This beer ingredient kit is inspired by Einbecker Ür-Bock Dunkel. A dark, strong, malty lager beer.

The classic example of one of the great beer styles in the world of beer. Brewed according to its original recipe of 1378.

Einbecker Urbock is the classic and original "Bockbeer". Brewers {mostly female} in the town of Einbeck in Lower Saxony, Germany, created it back in the 14th century. In the Middle Ages Einbecker Bockbeer became so popular that it was even shipped on a long journey to the royal court in Munch. There it was known as "Ainpoeckisch Beer" or simply "Einbock", a reference to its origin and from which its modern name is derived.

Without Einbeck, the German bockbeer style would not exist today!

Note: This ingredient kit is a lager beer and requires that the temperature is maintained at ~55 degrees. If you would like to use an ale yeast and ferment at room temperature, you can select the German Ale yeast or the "No Yeast" option and purchase the yeast separately.
