Ichabod Pumpkin Ale

This beer ingredient kit is a spiced beer inspired by Tulsa Brewing Company's Old Punkin' Head. The brewpub is no longer in business but their recipe is a frequent request from Tulsa customers that want to recreate one of their favorite holiday beers.

Old Punkin' Head was their most popular seasonal offering. It was traditionally brewed in late September-early October and was available on draft through Thanksgiving weekend or until the tap ran dry. The original "revivalist" recipe is often credited to 'Buffalo' Bill Owens who was the founder of the third brewpub in the USA, Buffalo Bill’s Brewpub in Hayward, CA which is still cranking out their famed Pumpkin Ale after more than 25 years.
